The other day I was looking for a site that would list happy hour drink specials in Ann Arbor Michigan, and couldn't find one that was worth a damn, until I came across Happy Hour Ann Arbor this site is awesome.

First off, they have a day of the week selector so if it's Monday and you want a drink you can see the bar that has a special... then there are maps of the local bars and more.

jQuery LI onClick Even

This jQuery hint is a great one, often times we us the ul li tags to create navigation, well people get annoyed when they click on the list item and it doesn't navigate to the destination of the link listed.

If you are using jQuery there is a really cool way to make all li's that have a link navigate to that on an onclick event.

Add the following to your $(document).ready(function(){

if( $(this).children("a").index() >= 1 ){
$('li').click(function(){ window.location = $(this).children("a").attr("href"); });
}

Then any li that has a child a will then be an onclick event to follow the link.

I've been summoned for Jury Duty once again, it seems like it's every 30-45 days at this point. Hopefully for the communities sake there isn't a trial I'll sit on, if there is everyone is guilty or the police have trumped up the charges. Just kidding, of course I'll be fair and impartial.

As to the real annoyance, I received my summons and questionnaire and such, and promptly lost my call in instructions sheet with the phone in number. So from now on all I have to do is check here, the Ingham County Jury Admin Phone In number is (517) 483-4439.
